LaDue Curran Kuehn is delighted to be involved in IDEA WEEK to help further the innovation ecosystem in the region. The University of Notre Dame, along with the city of South Bend, the city of Elkhart and various other community organizations and businesses, will host the week April 21-28 to highlight strides being made in innovation and entrepreneurship in the region and to inspire creative energy for future success.
The week includes over one hundred events focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation.
Dave Temeles of LaDue Curran Kuehn will participate in two panel events focused on funding and innovation in manufacturing:
-How to Fund Your Startup, April 24, 2018, 8:30 – 9:30 am
-Innovation in Manufacturing Panel, April 24, 2018, 11-12 pm
In addition, LaDue Curran Kuehn will be awarding a prize of $10,000 in-kind legal services to a team at the 2018 McCloskey New Venture Competition.
Forty semifinalists in this event will pitch live to a panel of judges on Thursday, April 26, 2018, competing for nearly $300,000 in cash and in-kind prizes.
From this group of 40 semifinalists, 6 to 8 finalists will be selected and invited to compete LIVE on campus on April 27. These final presentations are open to the public, and will be judged by an elite panel of judges including Shark Tank’s Daymond John, Matt Rogers, cofounder of NEST, and others.
